And they got their CPU from another source.
Based on their review, the Core i9-13900KS is around 6% faster than the i9-13900K on the Cinebench R23 benchmark. Still, the former is a significantly expensive CPU.
I recommend you check out Hardware Unboxed’s full review here.

Pricing and Availability
The 13th gen Intel Core i9-13900KS special edition processor is now available and comes with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $699.
But Hardware Unboxed was able to test and review one. If you have no intention of overclocking your CPU, it's best to choose a non-K series processor. of Memory Channels
However, it's important to keep in mind that in order to unlock this feature, you will require a motherboard capable of supporting an overclocked CPU, along with a high-performance liquid cooler, such as the CORSAIR All-In-One Liquid CPU Coolers, to dissipate the thermal heat generated by the CPU effectively. We will break it down for you below.
Four powerful CPUs
All four of these processors perform very well in gaming tasks, but there are some small differences.

As you can see from the summary table above, the F series processor has the lowest clock speeds (frequencies), but also the lowest power consumption.
So, before making a purchase, consider your requirements and budget to make an informed decision.
If you're in the process of building your own PC, remember that there are many user-friendly online tools available to help you choose the right components. I’m also waiting for AMD’s Ryzen 7000X3D processors and see how they perform.
Understanding them helps PC enthusiasts and hardware buyers alike - so you can consciously choose a CPU for your needs without making wrong assumptions about its capabilities. Both processors feature 8 performance cores, 16 efficiency cores, and a total of 32 threads. These processors have an integrated GPU, and the i5 variant offers even better performance.
Intel didn’t seed the KS variant to independent reviewers. Unlike the typical Core i9-13900K(F), the KS variant features a heavily or carefully selected silicone that makes it possible to achieve 6GHz of clock speed out of the box.
Both the Core i9-13900KS and Core i9-13900K are basically identical CPUs. While KF and K series CPUs are almost the same, the difference is that the latter also comes with integrated graphics (
K and KS series CPUs are also almost identical, both include integrated graphics but the latter can achieve slightly higher clock speeds.
We make it all and you can have a wander around out main website to polish off your upcoming upgrade

Intel recently released the “world’s first” 6GHz desktop processor – the Core i9-13900KS.
And it is geared towards overclockers and enthusiasts who demand the best of the best regardless of the price.
Aside from the high price, you’ll also need a high-end CPU cooler since it can get really toasty.
And they used a faster DDR5-7200 memory with the KS just to outperform the i9-13900K by up to 6%.
When it comes to gaming, the i9-13900KS is around 5% faster in 1080p, and around 4% faster in 1440p than the i9-13900K. Whether for gaming, streaming, content creation, or video editing, the KS processor's capabilities are unmatched among Intel processors.
Building a PC nowadays is not cheap, so spending less on a CPU would be helpful.
But we know the 7700X is a “better” gaming CPU than the 7950X. With the KF series, you must have a dedicated GPU in the system to have video output.
Intel® Core i9-14900KF and Intel® Core i9-14900K both perform very well in terms of average CPU mark, even if only slightly better than their 13th gen predecessors.
The Intel® Core i9-14900KS comes out on top when compared to the F, K, and KF series CPUs, although the last two are not too far behind.
